Login Screen

On this screen, you need to provide the user name and password to login. It is also possible to choose between authentication platforms (AD, LDAP, PassMan local database).

PassMan features are available after login.

Save a shareable password

Folders and subfolders can be found in the left side of the screen (this section can also be hidden).

You are allowed to store shared passwords either in the "Safe" folder or in new subfolders within the "Safe" folder, "My private data" folder can store only non-shareable credentials.

  1. Select "Vault" folder, or create a new subfolder by clicking the icon,
  2. Select "Targets" menu item from the top options,
  3. Click the icon to create a new target (e.g. website)
  4. A line appears in the list indicating the new target. By clicking on the number "0" in the "Acc.#" column, a screen of the user account list will appear,
  5. On this screen, click the icon to create a new Account (username / password),
  6. If necessary, control access to the folder (e.g. "Marketing"), target (e.g. "company website") or account (e.g. "User1").

Save a non-shareable password (only visible for the user)

These accounts are credentials that should not be shared with other users.

PassMan offers this option as a personal vault so you can store your own, personal credentials with the highest encryption.

  1. Select "My private data" folder,

You don't need to manage permissions in "My private data" folder as it is available only for you, data can't be shared with others!
