Session Management Settings
Activation/Deactivation
The Session tab (Tab ) will be visible in PassMan if the license required for remote access is active in Padmin.
The appearance of a new tab on the main page called Session.
License setting
To use Session Management, it is necessary to replace and install the appropriate license on the Padmin interface.
System Settings / Licensce/ paste the license in the field shown in the picture / click on the save button.
Before clicking the save button, it is possible to check the license.
If an error message appears, please contact the person in charge.
If the setup is successful, the Control Panel will display the following view:

After that, the following interface will appear
The use of the function can be enabled by selecting Enabled, and you can edit Session management's data.
PassMan URL:
- Single mode fill the PassMan URL, where clients can get PassMan. You must use the protocol indicator prefix (https://).
- Cluster mode fill the first node's URL, where clients can see PassMan. ou must use the protocol indicator prefix (https://)
Session management node FQDN:
- Cluster mode fill the first node's FQDN. without protocol prefix. First node IP is written in brackets eg. 10.200.16.21)
The following options are available for terminal type: ANY - SM – PMSL
- ANY option: Sessions can also be started with SM or PMSL.
- SM option: Sessions started from the Passman web interface.
- PMSL option: Sessions can be started with the help of downloadable software

If the setup is successful, the Control Panel will display the following view:
More information on the Dashboard:
Active sessions: Shows the number of started and active sessions.
Session managaement disk usage: The used storage space is displayed as a percentage.
Start, stop, restart
Start:
System Settings / Maintenance / Sessionmanagement Start
Stop:
System Settings / Maintenance / Sessionmanagement Stop
Restart:
It is located on the right side of the remote connections row

Set up device:
When creating and modifying a device, it is possible to specify the type of Terminal, as well as the option to record the started session.

Terminal types:
- SM: start a web-based session, passman remote access
- PMSL: session start will be started by a downloaded software.
- ANY: In such a case, you can choose to start the session as shown in the image below.
Session recording:
- If you select Yes, a saved recording of an active session is created
